The Opportunity

Due to continued growth across our Infrastructure division, we are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of major infrastructure and energy projects across Chesterfield and the wider Derbyshire region.

You will play a key role in supporting commercial and cost management activities across complex infrastructure schemes, working closely with clients, Tier 1 contractors and project teams on nationally significant programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support commercial and cost management activities across infrastructure projects
• Administer NEC3 / NEC4 contracts, including compensation events and change control
• Prepare cost plans, valuations, forecasts and reporting
• Monitor project performance, budgets and commercial risk
• Support procurement and contract management activities
• Build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
• Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate

About You

• Proven Quantity Surveying experience within infrastructure, utilities, energy or civil engineering
• Strong NEC3 / NEC4 contract knowledge
• Experience working on major infrastructure or capital delivery programmes
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management capability
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
• MRICS qualified or working towards chartership desirable
