We’re looking for experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to join our team on high-value infrastructure projects across the UK. You will provide independent commercial oversight, manage NEC contracts, and deliver cost leadership across civils, M&E, and high-voltage transmission schemes.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on nationally significant projects, supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cost planning, benchmarking, and lifecycle cost analysis
  • Administer NEC3/NEC4 contracts and manage compensation events, early warnings, and change controls
  • Oversee valuations, interim applications, and final accounts
  • Monitor cost performance, risk allowances, and compliance with governance frameworks
  • Provide commercial advice and guidance to project teams
  • Mentor and develop junior QS staff, supporting APC progression where applicable
  • Support procurement and contract strategy, ensuring best practice in commercial management
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QS team

Candidate Profile

  • Proven senior-level experience in infrastructure, utilities, or civil engineering projects
  • Strong NEC contract knowledge and commercial acumen
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
  • MRICS or actively working towards chartership preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work confidently with clients, contractors, and project teams
  • Ability to work across multiple sites and manage competing priorities
