The Opportunity

Due to continued growth across our Infrastructure division, we are looking to appoint an experienced Principal Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of major infrastructure and energy projects across the Midlands region.

This is a senior commercial role where you will lead cost and commercial management activities across complex infrastructure programmes, working closely with clients, Tier 1 contractors and project teams on nationally significant schemes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and cost management activities across infrastructure projects
• Administer NEC3 / NEC4 contracts, including compensation events and change control
• Prepare and oversee cost plans, valuations, forecasts and reporting
• Monitor project performance, budgets, risk and commercial compliance
• Support procurement, contract management and commercial governance
• Build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
• Mentor and support junior commercial team members

About You

• Proven experience operating at Senior or Principal Quantity Surveyor level
• Strong NEC3 / NEC4 contract knowledge
• Background within infrastructure, utilities, energy or civil engineering
• Experience delivering major infrastructure or capital delivery programmes
• Strong stakeholder management and commercial leadership capability
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
• MRICS qualified or working towards chartership desirable
